We never tell anyone how to live their lives or what decisions to make. Our aim is to establish relationships between young people and adult mentors who they can look up to, who they can respect, and who they can trust to have their best interests at heart. These relationships are not about providing young people with a road-map for life, but about steering them in the right direction towards the path of success.
Life is tough, especially for the generation of young people who are on the verge of entering adulthood in a socio-economic climate that is fraught with challenges and uncertainty. We give them a leg-up by helping young them with the basics, such as obtaining a social security card, getting a driver's license, and opening a bank account. It may seem simple, but it goes a long way in instilling self-confi- dence.
